This filter uses a 10 micron polypropelyn filter to remove sediment and other impurites up-grading the water quality one level and improving the performance and life of the main membrane. * Pre-Carbon filter Reduction of chlorine The Pre-Carbon filter, made from an advanced highly durable carbon, removes chlorine as the water flows through the filter. Removing the chlorine improves the quality of the water and also prevents damage to the main membrane. * R/O Membrane Reduction of impurities By passing through an FDA, NSF approved asymmetric polymer membrane with 0.0001 micron holes, the total dissolved content is reduced by as much as 94%. Reverse osmosis technology has been proven as an effective way to remove heavy metals from water. * Post-Carbon filter The water flavor The post-Carbon filter is the last step in the purification process. This filter uses high grade carbon to prevent odors or gasses from remaining in the water while returing the water's natural flavor. * Pressure Boost Pump Consistent output A pressure boost pump provides constant water pressure to the system to ensure consistent output and proper operation of the system regardless of water feed pressure. This pump is recommended for areas experiencing low water pressure. * Tank Level Control Maintain tank level At the center of the system is the Tank Level Control(TLC) device. Using electronic sensors the TLC stops the flow of water when the water reaches the tank capacity level and restarts flow as water is removed. It also shuts down the system in the event of an internal leak.
